Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Wadi Al-Quran, an online learning platform dedicated to teaching the Holy Quran, Arabic, and Quranic Arabic to non-Arabic speakers worldwide. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Mission

Our mission is to teach the Holy Quran, Arabic, and Quranic Arabic to non-Arabic speakers. We serve students, parents, teachers, and staff through a secure, role-based platform designed to facilitate Quranic education with excellence and integrity.

3. User Accounts

Each user is assigned a role—Student, Parent, Teacher, or Staff—with access permissions tailored to their responsibilities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Authentication is handled via secure JSON Web Tokens (JWT) stored in httpOnly cookies with a 7-day expiry. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payments & Billing

Tuition fees are billed monthly on the 15th of each month. All payments are processed in EGP (Egyptian Pounds). Teachers receive 50% of the student fee per session. Trial classes are provided unpaid for the teacher. Payment disputes must be directed to support@wadialquran.com.

5. Class Conduct

Teachers and students are expected to log in at least 5 minutes before the scheduled class time. A prayer pause of up to 10 minutes is permitted and the class should be extended accordingly to compensate. If a student does not join within 50% of the class duration, the teacher may end the session. Both parties must have a stable internet connection and backup power available.

In the event of technical issues, the teacher must notify HR immediately, and the lost time shall be made up in the next session.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made with less than 3 hours of notice are subject to penalty:

  • Regular class: $4 penalty (student must also schedule a makeup session).
  • First trial class: $6 penalty.
  • Second trial no-show: may result in dismissal from the program.

Emergency cancellations due to illness or bereavement are exempt from penalties and do not require a makeup session.

7. Teacher Lateness

If a teacher is late to a session, the following penalties are deducted from their compensation: $1 for 1–5 minutes, $2 for 6–15 minutes, $3 for 16–30 minutes, and $4 for over 30 minutes.

8. Class Summaries

Teachers must submit a class summary within 36 hours of the session. A late submission results in a 10% deduction from the teacher's session compensation.

9. Communication

All communication between students, parents, and teachers must occur through the platform's dashboard chat or official email. Sharing personal contact information is strictly prohibited. Financial enquiries should be directed to support@wadialquran.com. Management commits to responding within 24 hours.

10. Holidays

  • Eid al-Fitr: 2 days off.
  • Eid al-Adha: 2 days off, with a possible 3rd day by mutual agreement.
  • Ramadan: Classes continue as usual, with coordination around Iftar and prayer times.

Holiday requests require at least 2 weeks of notice. Makeup classes must be completed before the holiday period begins.

11. Termination

Teachers must provide a minimum of 4 weeks' resignation notice. Failure to provide adequate notice results in a 50% penalty on outstanding amounts. Stopping classes without notice incurs a 50% deduction from total payment.

The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in misconduct, as determined by management.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Users will be notified of material changes via the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
